Help answer the question about finance

What banks can finance a single family residence under 600 square feet?
Hello. I am attempting to buy a foreclosure in San Diego that is a single family residence with a total square footage of 528. I was told it is difficult for banks to finance anything under 600 square feet. The house is in good shape but its tiny. I need financing asap since the bank already accepted my offer. Thanks.

Go to sites that allow people to post articles and allows people to download or copy articles for free too. You just have to include the byline and source when you reprint or use it.

Try places like findarticles.com, ezinearticles.com, and then put in real estate for their sites search area.

Have you tried nasa.gov?
There might be something useful there, or maybe a way you could contact NASA and talk to someone.
Or try astronomy.com – its the online magazine but they might have articles or information on the funds spent on space research.

I am not familiar with the article.

However, this is surprising, at least to me. Short selling a stock is the sale of a borrowed stock in anticipation of a price decline. If the company becomes the lender of, say, 10 shares currently selling at $10 per share they have entered into a contract for future delivery. The borrower is obligated to pay back the 10 shares (ignoring the interest factor) at some point in the future. If the stock declines the borrower makes money because he only has to pay, say, $5 per share to purchase it. The short seller received $100 by selling the stock but only has to pay $50 (10 shares at $5 per share) to cover the contract – a profit of $50.

First of all, short selling is an indication that investors believe that the stock price of a particular company will decline – not exactly something that you want as a company. The company is owed 10 shares of stock regardless of what happens to the price of the stock. The short seller takes the risk (he might have to pay $15 per share to cover the contract).

The company would get interest from the loan but at the price of encouraging short selling.

If someone out there knows of this article I would be grateful for the name of the article and the publication (including the publication date).

I hope that this helps.

You can get their Securities and Exchange Commission Form 10-K filings from sec.gov's EDGAR archives; a 10-K is the basic form on which Apple would reveal its yearly financial statements, all changes of importance, etc.

Unfortunately, those records only go back to 1994 on EDGAR:
http://www.sec.gov/cgi-bin/browse-edgar?type=10-K&dateb=&owner=include&count=40&action=getcompany&CIK=0000320193

You can get information prior to that from the microfilm library. The SEC Web site explains the process.

You could also check with California's secretary of state, since Apple is registered as a California corporation, for filings they may require, including financials.

Finally, the 10-K form will mention, somewhere in it, all major contractors for Apple, which should include their marketing company; finance and marketing strategies will also be revealed in the 10-K form.

this is a very vague question, but the answer might be that it falls under Investor Relations. Investor Relations has gotten very sophisticated over the past 10 years or so. it used to be fielding phone calls and sending out annual reports, but now it involves full blown PR efforts associated with equity offerings. going on road shows…meeting with fund managers…etc etc..

It depends on how broad your definition of finance is. What this article is talking about is the overall financial impact of another stimulus to the US economy, including the effect this and other Obama plans will affect the investment markets and the job environment. If you are taking an accounting finance class, it doesn't really relate at all.

You are talking about a piece of federal legislation and your interpretation of it is correct. But like Coragryph said, there are some states which will prohibit discrimination based on sexual orientation even though federal law does not.
